Marvel Phase Four is a gift for Marvel fans. Some have said it is almost too much with a plethora of films like Eternals (November 5, 2021), Spider-Man: No Way Home (December 17, 2021), and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (March 25, 2022) all coming relatively soon. And, there are just as many new Marvel shows on Disney+ like Hawkeye (November 24, 2021) and Ms. Marvel (early 2022).
One of the most anticipated projects is Secret Invasion which just started filming in London last month. It will be Marvel Studio’s take on one of the most popular Marvel Comics storylines of all time. And, it will star none other than Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, who just revealed he more than prepared for his Marvel return.
Samuel L. Jackson has been in the Marvel Cinematic Universe since the very begging. He first appeared as the Director of SHIELD in the post-credits scene of Iron Man (2008) introducing Tony Stark aka Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) to the Avenger Initiative. And he is not going anywhere anytime soon.
Jackson recently shared a post on his Instagram teasing that he was back filming his next appearance as Nick Fury saying:
“Time to get back in the groove. Happy to be ack on the attack! #secretinvasion #f***thatsnap #backwithafury”

Marvel fans last say Nick Fury in the post-credit scene of Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019), where they revealed the spy has been hiding out in space following his five-year blip in Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and Avengers: Endgame (2019).
The Skrull Talos (Ben Mendelsohn), who was first introduced in Captain Marvel (2019), has been using his shapeshifting abilities to cover for Nick Fury’s apparent sabbatical. And Secret Invasion is set to pick up right there.
