We just adore Disney’s Animal Kingdom in Walt Disney World Resort! Beyond the exotic attractions like Avatar Flight of Passage and Expedition Everest, there is one wild encounter and heart-pounding experience that you can only find in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, the sight of a new baby animal being born!
Kilimanjaro Safaris, an African-inspired guided tour of the savanna, spans over 110 acres and is home to 34 species of living, exotic animals, including the Nile hippopotamus. Just yesterday, Guests who visited Kilimanjaro Safaris, noticed an adorable new baby swimming along with her mother near the attraction’s riverbank!
According to Click Orlando, Officials said they plan to share more photos and updates about the new calf in the coming days.
This summer, more baby animals were spotted, including an adorable and very tall Masai Giraffe calf born June 10. Towering at six feet tall and weighing 183 pounds, this little guy spends his days hanging out with mom, Lily, and has a unique marking on his shoulder that resembles a butterfly!
